After the lull that is January, February looks set to bring some more heavy hitters. It doesn’t matter if you are interested in racing games, fantasy RPGs, or even first-person shooters, this month will have something for everybody. There are even a few remasters and sequels as well, bringing fan-favorite series back at least one more time.

Life is Strange Remastered Collection

Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
This remastered collection includes both the original Life Is Strange along with Life Is Strange: Before the Storm. Along with all previously released content, the bundle also comes with upgraded visuals for both characters and environments as well as improved lighting. The developer has also refined the puzzles and gameplay. The game will also be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S via backward compatibility.
Cheftastic!: Buffet Blast
Release Date: February 4

Cheftastic!: Buffet Blast is a top-down arcade shooter. Players are tasked with taking back the Isle of Verdura from a swarm of mutated vegetables that have attacked. The main character is a chef, looking to hack his way through the brought-to-life ingredients that are terrorizing the area. With over 70 levels, various types of enemies, and plenty of pickups, there’s a lot of content to keep fans interested.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human
Release Date: February 4
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
The sequel to the highly acclaimed action RPG, Dying Light 2 Stay Human expands on the zombie apocalypse setting. Set around 20 years after the events of the first game, it puts players into the role of Aiden Caldwell as he tries to survive against the hordes of the undead. Techland has already confirmed that there are hundreds of hours worth of extras and side quests to pursue, keeping players occupied.
Model Builder

As you might have guessed from the name, Model Builder is a game all about building models. Players can design their own custom models, assemble them, and paint them exactly how they like. The creations can then be displayed on a series of virtual shelves, showcasing all of the hard work that went into building the various models.
OlliOlli World
Release Date: February 8
Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
OlliOlli World is a different type of skateboarding game, combining the thrill of skating with the action-platformer genre. Exploring the world of Radlandia, players can find interesting characters and new areas to traverse. The third entry in the series, OlliOlli World has a wide array of missions and challenges for users to complete along with multiple paths, so players can make their own way through the world.
Rumbleverse
Release Date: February 8
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
Rumbleverse is the latest entry in the rather new Brawler Royale genre, pitting 40 players against each other. A free-to-play title, it gives players the chance to create their own fighters and customize them before they are launched from a cannon into the arena to throw down against the other competitors.
Sifu
Release Date: February 8
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5
Beat ‘em up Sifu is an action-adventure game by French studio Sloclap. Thrust into the role of a kung fu student who is destined to avenge his murdered family, players explore a Chinese city. Using a magic talisman that will revive the protagonist whenever he is killed — however, he ages significantly every time the magic is used and will eventually die when the talisman loses all of its power.
Unbound: Worlds Apart
Release Date: February 9
Platforms: PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5
Unbound: Worlds Apart is a puzzle platformer in a hand-drawn world filled with portals. Taking control of Soli, players are able to open and travel through portals, taking advantage of the different physical laws in each dimension. Getting through each world, Soli attempts to end the evil that is breaking apart all of reality.
CrossfireX
Release Date: February 10
Platforms: Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S
CrossfireX is a new first-person shooter by Remedy Entertainment. The third game in the CrossFire series, it has a single-player campaign along with a free-to-play multiplayer mode. Inspired by the likes of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the game features classic FPS gameplay, with players having to complete objectives during matches. Meanwhile, the campaign includes a series of operations focused on a conflict between two private militaries.
Edge of Eternity

Edge of Eternity is a turn-based JRPG game where players take control of Daryon and Selene as they set out to save their world from the evil Corrosion that is slowly eating away at their land. Setting out to find the cure, they must battle an invading force that originally released the fatal disease.
Egglia: Rebirth

Platforms: Nintendo Switch
Set in the magical kingdom of Egglia, an invading force has besieged the land. Desperate, its leader has sealed the kingdom away in a magical egg to protect it with a powerful spell. Battling with dice rolls, the player is forced to try and improve Egglia and make themselves a new home.
Out There: Oceans of Time

Out There: Oceans of Time is a space exploration game, where players are put in charge of exploring the universe and discovering just what is out there in the vast cosmos. A sequel to Out There, Oceans of Time combines elements of roguelike and resource management games with interactive fiction to create a challenging and deadly experience.
Lost Ark
Release Date: February 11

Lost Ark is a free-to-play RPG set in a huge open-world made up of seven large continents. With each having its own unique cultures, the world of Lost Ark is vibrant and is begging to be explored. As a demon returns to Arkesia, players have to find the Ark to seal him away once again.
Infernax
Release Date: February 14
Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
Following the tales of a great knight who has gone back to his home to find it plagued with dark magic. Faced with many choices and multiple endings, players can decide their own path as they battle hordes of monsters and evil villains.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires

The latest entry in the long-running Empires series, Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires blends fast-paced and action-packed battles with strategy. Tasked with capturing countries across the land, players can take part in politics and thrilling castle sieges.
King of Fighters 15

King of Fighters 15 is a brand new fighting game developed by SNK. Switching to Unreal Engine 4, this installment of the franchise focuses on two supernatural fighters who fight against familiar foes with some returning heroes. In total, there are 40 playable characters split across 13 teams.
Total War: Warhammer 3

This is the third entry in Creative Assembly’s take on the world of Warhammer. Using the turn-based strategy gameplay familiar to the Total War series, the game features three civilizations and a custom battle mode. Although little is known about the campaign, it is set to take place in the Realm of Chaos.
Horizon Forbidden West

Arguably the biggest launch of February, Horizon Forbidden West is the follow-up to the hit PlayStation exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn, which first released in 2017. The game once again follows Aloy as she attempts to find the source of a deadly plague that is threatening all life. Returning characters and locations will be joined by a vast array of new content.
Martha is Dead

Martha is Dead is a first-person psychological thriller set in a dark and twisted version of Italy in 1944. According to the developer the game “blurs the lines between reality, superstition and the tragedy of war.” Dealing with her own murder along with her twin sister, Martha and Giulia set out in search of the truth.
Elden Ring

Created by the same team behind Dark Souls and Bloodborne, Elden Ring is a new action RPG set in a completely new world. With the help of Game of Thrones writer George R. R. Martin, the fantasy world has been built to focus on combat and exploration, much like the other games by FromSoftware.
Grid Legends
Release Date: February 25
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S
The latest installment in Codemaster’s classic racing title, Grid Legends features more than 130 tracks. It also gives players the ability to create their very own races and includes a story mode inspired directly by Netflix’s own Formula 1: Drive to Survive documentary series.
