In January 2020, CD Projekt RED moved the Cyberpunk 2077 release from April 16 to September 17. Fans hoped that this delay would be the last, but no one was sure about it. So, bad news has happened again: now the release is scheduled for November 19.
CDPR co-founder Marcin Iwiński and studio manager Adam Badowski commented about the move to November as follows:
According to Iwiński and Badowski, the game is ready in terms of gameplay and content: quests, skills and objects. However, the team needs to check everything once again, rebalance and remove the bugs — there’s too much content and mechanics in CP2077.
This week journalists all over the world are playing a preview build of the RPG. Hands-on previews will be published live on June 25, right after the live broadcast of Night City Wire.
