Nvidia is already trying to catch the hype around Cyberpunk 2077 and they have come up with a wonderful idea that they revealed Wednesday on their forum. Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on Nvidia’s cloud gaming service GeForce Now the same day of release. To all of you who might not have played because of a weak PC, this might be good news.
If you don’t have an RTX GPU, you need to be a GeForce Now member and purchase this game on Steam. You’ll be able to play Cyberpunk 2077 on any PC with real-time ray tracing on. The question remains whether Nvidia is going to add GOG support for those who want to play directly from CD Projekt RED’s own digital store.
In the forum post, Nvidia thanked CD Projekt RED for their collaboration and reminded fans CDPR’s The Witcher series is also available on GeForce Now. Cyberpunk 2077’s release is scheduled for September 17 and hopefully this time without any delay.
