While it’s not an official part of E3 2021, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest is happening today. The livestream for this summer’s event will kick off at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET on both YouTube and Twitch. You can stream the show live on YouTube below.
There will be some special entertainment, including special guests and musical performers including fan-favorite band Weezer.
Geoff Keighley is most famous as the creator and host of The Game Awards. Last year, he planned to miss E3 for the first time in 25 years. According to The Washington Post, this is because he felt “that E3 needs to evolve.”
E3 2020 ended up getting canceled, so Keighley’s Summer Game Fest became his alternative to E3. This fest gives various publishers and other gaming pros a platform to discuss game development outside of E3.
