The Show Me the Eridium mini-event was a fan-favorite among Borderlands 3 players. Now, those players have until April 8 to participate in this event once again.
From now until the end of the event, players will see Eridium drops from standard foes and even more Eridium drops in Mayhem Mode. Those wanting to play Moxxi’s Vault Line won’t have to use as much Eridium, and Crazy Earl will be offering discounts in the Cargo Bay of Sanctuary III.
Why is this mini-event such a big deal? The short answer is that it is the best time for players to stock up on Eridium. It is a relatively rare element, and having enough of it will make players better prepared to take on raid bosses.
That includes a new raid boss that will be added to the Director’s Cut content, which releases on April 8. The new boss is Hemovorous the Invincible, a Varkid whom you can’t take without depositing a cool 500 Eridium.
Speaking of April 8, that is the same day that players can use Crazy Earl’s Reroll (to change the Anointment on an item). And it’s the same day players can use Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine, a hidden device offering Legendary loot to players who can find it.
Between these additions and other Director’s Cut features (including more bosses, more content, and more lore), it’s the perfect time to get back into Borderlands 3. You can start stockpiling Eridium now and then take on the new content in style.
