Sony has revealed that its first State of Play presentation of the year will take place on Thursday, February 25. The announcement was posted to the official PlayStation Blog.
The Nintendo Direct-style event is usually used to announce new games and give fans updates on projects that are currently in development.
Although it has not officially unveiled what titles will be included during the State of Play stream, the company did announce that there won’t be any hardware announcements.
However, fans can expect to see information about 10 different titles. These will be a mixture of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games, some of which were first shown during the PS5 Showcase in June of last year.
There will also be updates on some indie games alongside larger AAA games from big-name publishers. it’s currently unclear whethere there will be any new first-party projects announced.
