With June just around the corner, gamers are getting excited for what is usually a big summer of game announcements and reveals. Many publishers and developers use June to detail their upcoming plans, with E3 often giving fans the first glimpse at the big releases on the way.

This June is no different but that does not mean there are not also some great games set to launch in the month. Although there may not be any big AAA releases, gamers will still find plenty to get excited about. 

Here is every video game release date for June 2021.

Operation: Tango

Release Date: June 1

Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One

Operation: Tango is a co-op spy game, where players can team up with a friend to bring down a global threat. Requiring a microphone to play, users have to communicate with each other to solve puzzles. The game takes place in a hyper-connected world inspired by augmented reality.

Stonefly

Release Date: June 1

Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch

In Stonefly, players take on the role of Annika, who is trying to retrieve her family’s lost heirloom. Using the wind to glide around, the game is from the creators of Creature in the Well. According to the developers, this is a relaxing game that should not be too stressful for players.

Super Animal Royale

Super Animal Royale is a new battle royale game played from a top-down perspective. Each fight involves 64 players battling it out as various animals in a 2D world packed with frantic action. The aim of the game is to find the best weapons and loot while surviving against every other user. 

Hokko Life

Release Date: June 2

Platforms: PC

Hokko Life is a brand new life simulation game in the same style as Animal Crossing or My Time At Portia. Having just arrived in a tiny village by train, it is up to the player to create a thriving town. This title puts an emphasis on creativity, providing tools to design and build custom homes.

Pro Cycling Manager 2021

Release Date: June 3

Pro Cycling Manager 2021 sees players taking on the role of a team boss for a cycling team. As the leader in charge, it is up to you to decide on strategy, secure sponsorship, and manage equipment. With more than 250 races and over 80 teams, there’s a whole lot of content for cycling fans.

Tour de France 2021

Tour de France 2021 is the second cycling game coming in June. However, this puts players into the shoes of the cyclists themselves. The game features all 21 stages of the classic Tour de France. It also boasts a new My Tour mode and an improved objective system.

Winds of Change

Winds of Change is a story-driven game that gives players multiple endings and romance options. The non-linear story will take players on an adventure that is inspired by both Dragon Age and Mass Effect. With a 2D visual novel style, it also features a rich fantasy world filled with compelling characters.

DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power

Release Date: June 4

Platforms: Nintendo Switch

In DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power, players have to take on the role of a female hero to save Metropolis. Wonder Woman, Supergirl, and Batgirl are all available to play as, with the game having a similar art style to the animated series. Players will have to balance life as a hero and teenager while exploring the huge city.

Evergate

Release Date: June 4

Evergate is a puzzle platformer that the developers describe as haunting. Featuring hand-drawn art, it takes players to the Afterlife as a Soulflame tries to help a lost soul. With an original orchestral soundtrack, it has already received critical acclaim when released on PC, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S last year.

The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom

The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom is an action role-playing game set in an open world. The story sees a group of survivors attempting to stop the Slime Queen from taking over the post-apocalyptic world. Players will have access to a variety of upgrades, abilities, and equipment along the way.

The Persistence Enhanced

Platforms: PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X

Trapped on a huge colony ship that has been overrun with terrible mutants, it’s up to the player to survive. With the craft heading towards a black hole, the sole clone has to repair the ship and escape the gravitational pull. This enhanced version supports haptic feedback on PS5 and visual upgrades.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is a tactical shooter and the sixth major entry in the series. Described as the most challenging entry to date, it features even longer distance sniping. The main action will take place in the Middle East, with the player acting as a contract sniper.

Chivalry 2

Set in a medieval world, this multiplayer game sees players battling it out with swords, arrows, and maces. This time around, the sequel features cross-platform play, four distinct classes with three subclasses each, and new knight tournaments.

Edge of Eternity

Edge of Eternity is a turn-based battle game that follows Daryon and Selene. The pair are aiming to cure the Corrosion affliction from consuming their world. It promises a large fantasy world to explore, epic battles, and a cast of charismatic characters.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is an enhanced edition of the Final Fantasy VII remake that was released last year. Taking advantage of the extra horsepower in the PS5, it will feature improved visuals, DualSense support, and the ability to customize performance. There’s also an extensive photo mode to allow players to share images from the game.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Edition

Ninja Gaiden: Master Edition is a bundle of all three modern Ninja Gaiden games from the last two decades. The collection is coming exclusively to the NIntendo Switch and includes almost all previously released DLC in one collection. Legend of Mana

This is an HD remaster of the classic RPG Legend of Mana. Widely seen as one of the most influential and best role-playing games of all time, it has been given a vast visual upgrade to modernize it for audiences on a variety of consoles.

Roguebook

Roguebook is a roguelike deckbuilder where players have to gather cards and build a powerful team of two heroes. Created with one of the lead designers behind Magic: The Gathering, each hero has more than 50 unique cards to collect and use in battle.

DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure

Mario Golf: Super Rush

Scarlet Nexus is the latest game from Bandai Namco. It will see players taking control of either Yuito and Kasane, a pair of elite psionics, with extrasensory powers. The two fighters must battle against deranged mutants who are resistant to normal attacks, requiring the use of psionic abilities.

Curved Space

Curved Space is an arcade twin-stick shooter that is both fast-paced and frantic. Players are tasked with taking on hordes of spiders that have invaded the galaxy. The gameplay is distinct due to the curved surfaces where the battles take place, with bullets hugging against the floors.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Ghoul Patrol
