More Games Delayed Due to Coronavirus: The Last of Us Part II, Iron Man VR and Others

April 3, 2020

Unfortunately, The Last of Us Part II has been delayed, with no new release date given. This was announced via Naughty Dog’s Twitter account. According to the post, the game is almost finished and the team is in the process of fixing the final bugs.

“We were bummed about this decision but ultimately understood it’s what’s best and fair to all of our players. We’re hoping that this won’t be a long delay and we’ll update you as soon as we have new information to share,” reads the statement.

There are some other games and consoles that have been delayed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Here’s the short list of it:

  • Marvel’s Iron Man VR is also delayed until an unknown date.
  • The Outer Worlds port for Nintendo Switch has been delayed from March 6 to June 5.
  • Wasteland 3, the spiritual heir to the old Fallout series, has been delayed from May 19 to August 28.
  • Atari delayed the Atari VCS again (no surprise). The console was supposed to be released in March 2020, but does not have any release date now.

As the amount of delayed projects may grow, we will update you with breaking news. For now, you can enjoy Resident Evil 3 Remake which released today, and grab Uncharted 4 and DiRT Rally 2.0 from PS Plus starting April 7.
