Ninja Gaiden is a hardcore action series that has remained silent for a long time. The last spinoff project, 2014’s Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, wasn’t received well by either critics or players. Seems like now Team Ninja is ready to breathe new life into these games.
Someone on Reddit found out that Hong Kong’s largest distributor is going to release Ninja Gaiden Sigma Trilogy. The original page has been deleted, but a cached version still remains. According to the page’s description, the games are:
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma
- Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
- Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge
The mentioned consoles are PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Ninja Gaiden Sigma Trilogy is going to come out in March 2021 at a price of $39.99 USD. Perhaps the official announcement will take place at the end of September — there will be a digital exhibition Tokyo Game Show.
