Developer 343 Industries has promised fans that it will keep them in the loop about the progress of Halo: Infinite with monthly updates.
Speaking on Reddit, 343 Industries community manager Brian Jarrard confirmed that the studio would be releasing a regular stream of information about the game. This will start in just a few day’s time with the publication of the first update.
“We’re committed to at least monthly high-level updates and the next ‘Inside Infinite’ is coming out this week,” Jarrard wrote. “This month we’re talking with members of the sandbox team to share some insights into their vision for Halo Infinite and the work they’re doing.”
However, Jarrard confirmed that fans should not expect any big announcements or reveals during these updates. They will instead be used as a way of keeping players up-to-date on the latest developments on the Xbox exclusive title.
The move follows weeks of silence from 343 Industries after Halo: Infinite was delayed late last year. The game received criticism following its initial showing, leading to Microsoft and the developer delaying its launch into 2021. This came as a major blow considering that Halo: Infinite was meant to be the biggest draw for the Xbox Series X|S.
Since then, 343 industries has said it is spending more time on polishing and improving the overall experience. One notable change comes in the graphics, which will seemingly be significantly enhanced as part of the ongoing work.
