Frictional Games has officially announced Amnesia: Rebirth with a trailer. The release will take place this fall for PC and PlayStation 4.
This time the game takes place in the Algerian desert. The protagonist is a girl named Tassi Trianon who goes on “a harrowing journey through devastation and despair, personal terror and pain, while exploring the limits of human resilience,” according to the official press release.
As usual, you need to explore the world, unravel its history, and overcome the puzzles and madness that stand in your way. Carefully manage your limited health, both physical and mental.
And the most interesting part — Rebirth is a direct sequel of 2010’s Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the first Amnesia game. An indirect sequel, Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, was released in 2013.
