Respawn Entertainment has released a brand new gameplay trailer for Apex Legends: Legacy, giving fans a glimpse at the upcoming content that is part of the Season 9 update.
The season was teased last week in a cinematic trailer, introducing a new playable character in the form of Valkyrie, who has VTOL Jets and a Missile Swarm attack.
However, the new video gives a more in-depth look at Season 9 and what content it will include. This includes the new PvP arenas, which will allow players to battle it out in more traditional deathmatch modes from first-person shooters.
The PvP arenas will allow teams of three to compete against each other across five smaller maps. Matches will also take place across multiple rounds, significantly breaking with the battle royale mode that Apex Legends is known for.
The video also shows off the Bocek Bow, a new weapon that is difficult to wield but also incredibly deadly. It is most effective at medium range but can be a risk due to its slow reload speed.
Apex Legends: Legacy is set to launch on May 4 for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
