Do you remember that funny post-apocalyptic cyber-kitty from Biomutant’s announcement way back in 2017? What a wonderful creature! And the game is supposed to be even more exciting according to what we know (and we don’t know much).
Biomutant is an upcoming Action/RPG with an open world in a post-apocalyptic setting. THQ Nordic describes the game as a “kung fu fable”: a huge variety of skills, mutations, biomechanical prosthetics, telekinesis and other psychic abilities are included. So, what’s wrong with that? Nothing but a bit of delay.
Development started in 2017 by Experiment 101, and the game was supposed to be released in 2019. But since last September, there has been no info about development at all. Many players have started to doubt if the game is still alive.
The good news is that the team at Experiment 101 have tweeted that the game is in its final stages of development. “We will reveal the release date as soon as everyone at our studio feels confident about hitting that date and that the game is ready for it,” Experiment 101 revealed, while also asking for fans’ patience.
At least these people are alive and the development is on. We can only hope that these guys are truly working hard on this excellent idea and it’s not a creepy sign of development hell or any other issues.
