Thanks to his likeness in the game and his famous E3 appearance, actor Keanu Reeves became the mascot for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. Now, the beloved actor has given his approval for how the game plays.
According to CD Projekt Red president and CEO Adam Kicinski, “[Keanu Reeves] played the game and he loves it.” This comes from a Q3 Earnings Call that was transcribed by Seeking Alpha. After many delays, we know that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming out on December 10.
Reeves plays the character Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077, and the actor has been a large part of building up the hype for this game. And while it’s true that Reeves is likely to be a tad biased toward the title, chances are his biggest fans will breathe a bit easier about their pre-orders because Keanu himself loves this game.
