Death Stranding helped cement Hideo Kojima’s reputation as one of the most original creators in the gaming industry, and his Director’s Cut launched on PS5 last summer. Now, the Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 30.
What new features does Death Stranding Director’s Cut contain? Players can look forward to new fights, new missions, and brand-new areas to explore. You can also use jump ramps to cross gaps in different areas, use a cargo catapult for special deliveries, and take advantage of a convenient buddy bot.
The UI has also been improved, and you can play with a friend thanks to the Friend Play feature. There is a Fragile Circuit racing mode, but this pales in comparison to the graphical tweaks. Players of the Director’s Cut will experience better frame rates, Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) support, ultrawide monitor support, and a photo mode to snap some unforgettable pics as you play.
If you already own the original Death Stranding on PC, then you can upgrade to the Director’s Cut for only $9.99. And if you don’t already own it, now is the perfect time to dive into this strange new world.
