Epic Games Store is ready to give you some more free masterpieces: Gone Home, Hob, and Drawful 2 are available for free until April 9.
Gone Home is one of the best “walking simulators.” The story is like a good thriller movie: Katie Greenbriar returns home from overseas to her family’s new home but there’s no one there. You need to investigate an old and empty house, find out the story of its previous owners, and try to discover where your family is. Both critics and players accepted this game quite warmly — exploration and digging into other people’s lives is surprisingly interesting. Just be prepare for the old fashioned “walking” gameplay and watch onу the best video games stories.
As for Hob, it looks like classic The Legend of Zelda games. The protagonist explores a colorful world, battles against enemies and solves puzzles, gradually opening new areas. The adventure game’s reviews have been moderately positive. Most players praise the pleasant visuals and locations that are not boring to explore.
The third free game is Drawful 2, a “go-to party game.” The Epic Games Store describes Drawful 2 like this: “You use your phone or tablet to draw weird and funny things like ‘pitcher of nachos’ or ‘death by trombone.’ The other players type in what they think the (probably terrible) drawing is and those become the multiple-choice wrong answers. Then everyone – even an audience of potentially thousands – tries to guess the REAL answer.”
In addition, the joke courier simulator Totally Reliable Delivery Service is currently free as part of its launch week promotion. You can get it for free through April 8.
Next week, EGS will make Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments Adventure available for free.
