PlayStation State of Play livestreams keep gamers informed about major developments while also building hype about upcoming games. And the newest stream is coming on March 9 and will especially focus on Japanese games.

According to Sony, the stream will be about 20 minutes and will debut at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT. Those who want to watch can tune in and catch the stream on either YouTube or Twitch.

What can players expect to see during the State of Play? While we will get info about both PS4 and PS5 games, Sony has sadly confirmed that we won’t be hearing anything about the PSVR 2 or any of its games.

While we know the stream will focus on games published in Japan, it’s not yet clear what games these will be. Many fans are hoping to learn more about Final Fantasy 16 and what it means for this beloved franchise.
