January 21, 2021

A brand new Resident Evil game has been leaked ahead of its official reveal during the upcoming showcase later today.

According to the leak, the project is called Resident Evil Re:Verse and will be included in Resident Evil Village. This has led to speculation that Resident Evil Re:Verse could be some sort of multiplayer mode for the next game in the series.

The Humble Bundle Store inadvertently announced the existence of the project and its name earlier today. The online store even posted a link to the official Resident Evil Re:Verse website, although there is currently no content on the page. Both links have since been taken offline.

Capcom will likely be annoyed that Resident Evil Re:Verse has been leaked ahead of the Resident Evil Showcase. The event is set to take place today, January 21 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET.

It’s likely that fans will find out more information about exactly what Resident Evil Re:Verse is and how it will work during the showcase.
