Thanks to COVID-19 delays and sheer demand, it has been difficult for many players to buy a next-gen console. But this week, Best Buy will reportedly be getting a restock of both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X.
This information comes courtesy of a report from TechRadar. Citing multiple sources, the website claims that these systems will be in stock at Best Buy locations across the U.S. on Thursday, Sept. 23.
That’s the good news. The bad news is that we don’t yet know whether customers will have to order them online and pick them up from the store later (which has happened more recently) or if they will be sold directly via the store (which hasn’t happened in about a year).
Depending on what Best Buy decides, gamers eager to purchase a console may need to clear their schedule and line up on Thursday morning. But it may be worth it to snag a console now before the demand skyrockets ahead of the holiday season.
Will you be trying to score a system on Thursday? If so, which system? Be sure to let us know in the comments!
