PS5 Horror Game Inspired by ‘Seinfeld’ Gets a Trailer and a Patreon Campaign

Sinfeld Remastered is an upcoming horror game inspired by the immensely popular sitcom Seinfeld. The announcement trailer for the game gives us a deeper glimpse into what this title is all about.

This indie game by RareBird Games has had an interesting development cycle. It began with Sinfeld Chronicles, a fan-made horror parody released on the PS4’s Dreams game creation platform in February 2020. The game featured Donathan, Jerry Seinfeld’s nephew, in a surreal horror world exploring locations inspired by Jerry and Kramer’s apartments.

It’s proved popular enough to warrant a standalone game for PlayStation 5, and the developers are currently seeking money from fans via Patreon to make it happen.

But what is the game all about? The logline reads: “Sinfeld Remastered is an action horror comedy parody featuring various gameplay styles inspired by Resident Evil, Silent Hills and PT. DONATHAN IS BACK in an all-new adventure! Join Donathan as he survives the streets after his newly adoptive father abandons him at about 3 a.m. in the Big Apple. He finds himself trapped in an endless loop of nightmares as he fights to find a bed to sleep in.”
