PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, recently renamed PUBG: Battlegrounds, has been one of the most popular and prominent battle royale games for many years. Now, you can play PUBG on Steam free for a week.
The game is free to play from August 9 through August 16 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET. But if you haven’t done so already, you will need to create a PUBG global account on the official site and link it to your Steam account in order to play for free. After you have linked your accounts, you will be able to receive special rewards each day of this promotion.
During this promotion, you will be able to experience all of PUBG’s different modes. If you like the game and end up buying it on Steam after the promotion is over, you will retain everything you have earned, including XP, BP, stats, and both Pass and Mission rewards.
There are special events planned to welcome new players into the fold. Additionally, you can look forward to special drops like the following:
