Konami has re-released Silent Hill 4: The Room on GOG. The game can be bought for $9.99 USD.
On Thursday, Gematsu had noticed that the game received an age rating for PC by Pan European Game Information (PEGI). This sparked speculation that SH4 would be coming to GOG soon, which indeed held true.
Just like the recent Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance remasters, Silent Hill 4 wasn’t remade much. The main improvement is compatibility with modern operating systems and hardware. But perhaps this could be another hint about a potentially new Silent Hill game?
The original release of Silent Hill 4 took place in 2004 on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. The game tells the story of Henry Townshend, who finds himself trapped in his apartment, only to enter a portal that takes him to mysterious alternate realities.
