Every May 4th (“May the Fourth Be With You”), Star Wars fans celebrate their favorite franchise. The creators of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order honored Star Wars Day by providing the community with a free update.
Let’s see what we got:
“New game +” — it allows you to start a new game with some progress saved. You will have your lightsaber details, poncho and other visual elements. The abilities will have to be learned again. All chests that have been opened before will remain open. Also, two training modes are available at NG+ as Meditation Training.
Meditation Training allows you to choose between two modes available at the practice hub — Combat Challenges and Battle Grid:
- In Combat Challenges, Cal fights with waves of enemies in a variety of arenas. After the battle, you will get a score of up to three stars: one star for passing, two stars for passing without healing, and three stars for passing without getting any damage. All 12 challenges are designed for experienced players with a skilled hero.
- Battle Grid is a “sandbox” where you can create your own combat situations. Here you choose the location, scale, complexity and modifiers. The settings are saved for new heats. In addition to standard enemies, Master Jaro Tapal and Inquisitor Cal Kestis are also open in the mode.
Also, we are getting some cosmetic items for BD-1, red color for lightsaber, Inquisitor appearance for Cal and more. The full list of changes can be found on the official website of Electronic Arts.
