We need more gold! Because now we know the exact release date of Warcraft III: Reforged. Unfortunately, it will not make it out in 2019 as Blizzard had previously announced. But the good news is we won’t have to wait long. The release date is January 28, 2020.
So, what’s new here? Warcraft III: Reforged will be a remaster of the classic game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion The Frozen Throne. We will see completely redesigned graphics, a new interface, and even some changed cutscenes.
At BlizzCon in November, Robert Bridenbecker, executive producer and vice president at Blizzard Entertainment, said the storyline will not be changed to fit the new World of Warcraft canon — because the fan community loves the plot and wanted them to leave it as it is. The same applies for the original voice actors: fans didn’t want them to replace their favorite voices they’ve been used to hearing for years.
But in terms of changes, the multiplayer campaign will be significantly improved. The new system will monitor your performance and select your opponents based on your ability to play a particular race.
Here you can see some of the new in-game models including Arthas, Sylvanas, and more.
