In wake of the cancellation of E3 comes news of what Warner Bros. Games had planned for the event. Warner Bros. Games, which was going to participate in E3 for the first time, was set to announce some very interesting projects. Industry insider Jason Schreier has confirmed on Twitter that three projects were supposed to be revealed: a new Batman game, a new Harry Potter game, and a new game from Rocksteady Studios.
According to previous teasers, Warner Bros. was about to present a new Batman game connected with the Court of Owls from the Batman comics. Furthermore, Rocksteady Studios, the guys behind the Batman: Arkham series, are reportedly developing a new unknown DC Universe project. Also, Warner Bros. planned to announce a new Harry Potter open-world RPG — this game was leaked back in 2018 and was supposed to be a prequel to the magic universe.
On Kotaku, Schreier said, “It remains to be seen whether Warner Bros. will instead hold its own digital event or do something else entirely.”
If the ESA finds a way to make E3 digital this year, we may have a solid chance to see these games.
