Watch Dogs: Legion Multiplayer Now Coming in 2021

November 27, 2020

The multiplayer aspect of Watch Dogs: Legion will not release in 2020 as planned, with Ubisoft confirming the new mode will now launch in 2021.

The delay comes as the developer attempts to fix a number of high-profile bugs and technical issues that are plaguing the main game across all systems.

The online multiplayer modes for Watch Dogs: Legion were originally due to release on December 3. These modes would launch alongside a new patch that was meant to fix a variety of glitches.

However, with these issues being more widespread and serious than first anticipated, Ubisoft is concentrating its efforts on fixing them before introducing more modes into the game.

A statement from the company states: “Since the launch of Watch Dogs: Legion, some of you continue to have technical issues preventing you from enjoying the game. The dev team is committed to fixing these issues and will not stop until everyone can experience the game as intended.”
