A Full-Sized Nintendo Direct Is Coming on February 9

February 8, 2022

Nintendo loves to keep fans up to date on new games and products with their Nintendo Direct streams. Now, the next stream is scheduled for February 9, and it will tell us about some major titles launching this year!

Throughout 2021, there were plenty of “Indie Direct” streams that told us about (what else?) independent games. But tomorrow’s stream is a full-calorie Nintendo Direct, meaning it will have plenty of info on both first- and third-party games.

The stream will go live on Wednesday February 9 at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET. You can check it out over on Nintendo’s official YouTube page or just watch it here:

What can we expect to see? According to Nintendo, the stream should last for about 40 minutes. It will mostly focus on Nintendo games we can expect to see during the first half of 2022. Other than that, Nintendo has made no specific announcements yet, leaving fans to drool over the prospect of learning more about major titles like Splatoon 3 and Breath of the Wild 2.

If nothing else, it’s worth treating this as a special event. We haven’t had a full-sized Nintendo Direct since September 23, 2021. While there will likely be more Nintendo Directs this year, tomorrow’s stream will help define what to expect from the Big N this year.
