Call of Duty: Warzone Season 3 Reloaded Update Released, ’80s Action Heroes Event Goes Live

May 20, 2021

The latest update for Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived, bringing lots of new content to season 3 of the battle royale spin-off.

Perhaps the biggest addition in the update is the ’80s Action Heroes event. This special content introduces a series of new challenges and rewards for players.

Activision has confirmed the event also sees both Rambo and John McLane enter the fray, with guns, equipment, and modes inspired by the two movie franchises making an appearance.

There are also a number of changes to the Warzone playlists. This includes removing Blood Money Duos, Mini Royale, and Resurgence Quads and adding Power Grab, Quads, and Resurgence Trios.

Power Grab is a fresh limited-time mode that sees players collecting dog tags from Supply Boxes, to unlock special rewards that rank up according to how many dog tags have been found. There is no Gulag and the circle doesn’t reduce in size, making this a more intense game that comes down to what weapons players can unlock.

A variety of additional points of interest have also been added via the Reloaded update, giving players more areas to explore.
