CD Projekt Red Staff Are Working From Home to Finish Cyberpunk 2077 on Time

March 17, 2020

Many of us are waiting for the word of one certain company. So finally, CD Projekt RED gave a comment on how things are going on their side: the studio is implementing a remote work policy during this period of the COVID-19 outbreak, just like the others.

The company takes this situation as a challenge. “Over the past week, we have been adapting to the situation and gradually rolling out preventative measures across our entire organization” says their statement on Twitter. “We are rising to the challenge and showing no signs of stopping in our effort to bring you some kick-ass role-playing action in September.”

Let’s hope Cyberpunk 2077 will not be delayed again. On the other hand, this is not a problem for those who remember that infamous 2013 teaser with “coming: when it’s ready” end credits.

CD Projekt RED is the latest video game company to announce it is working from home. Earlier, Microsoft, Bungie, EA and Rockstar announced work from home policies in order to stem the coronavirus outbreak.
