Pop singer and Elon Musk girlfriend Grimes has opened up about her Cyberpunk 2077 character and her fate: Lizzy Wizzy appears to have a real dark backstory.
Сlaire Boucher (Grimes’ real name) had a livestream over the weekend for her fans and answered a lot of questions. Of course, someone dared to ask a question about her involvement to Cyberpunk 2077 and — oops! — she told too much. Spoilers ahead!
“I did my voice acting for Lizzy Wizzy, that game is going to be fucking good. I mean I haven’t played it, but I saw someone play an hour of the game. The game was fantastic, and I play a pop star who committed suicide on stage, and they had to quickly come and perform emergency surgery and replace her whole body with cybernetics while she was dead for an hour and then she finished the show as a cyborg. One of the greatest pieces of performance art ever made.”
Cyberpunk 2077 feels like an episode of Black Mirror — dark, creepy, and absolutely stylish. After this, it’s even harder to wait till September 17. But if you like Grimes’ music, you still got this awesome in-game performance:
