Resident Evil Village will get Mercenaries mode

The publisher also announced that Mercenaries mode is returning to the franchise after an extended hiatus. This is a time trial mode whereby users compete to earn high scores. In Resident Evil Village, players will be able to use weapon shops between rounds and collect a variety of upgrades.

Resident Evil Village extended gameplay demo coming soon

PlayStation 5 owners have already been able to try out a small demo for Resident Evil Village. However, next week will see an extended demo become available for all PlayStation platforms.

The demo will come to other platforms from May 1, although players will only have an hour to play the two modes on offer. This includes the Village demo and the Castle demo, which will be two separate experiences.
