Fall Guys Coming to Xbox Consoles This Summer

February 18, 2021

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S later this year.

Mediatonic, the developer behind the hit battle royale game, has revealed in a tweet that Fall Guys will be coming to the Xbox platforms in the summer. However, there’s currently no specific release date.

Speaking on the official Xbox site, lead game designer Joe Walsh said: “Our whole team cannot wait to welcome Xbox players to the Blunderdome for all sorts of bean-based mayhem. It’s certainly been a while coming, but we’re here and couldn’t be happier.”

The news that Fall Guys is coming to Xbox is not a huge shock. Last year, Microsoft let slip in a social media post that a port was in the works. Meanwhile, Nintendo revealed that the battle royale title was coming to the Switch in the summer during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct presentation.

Fall Guys originally launched for PC and PlayStation 4 last August and has remained a console exclusive on Sony’s system since. That suggests that the two companies had some sort of agreement in place to keep Fall Guys off competitor platforms. If the deal was a 12-month exclusivity arrangement, Fall Guys might arrive on both Switch and Xbox in August.
