Developer Turn 10 wants players to help improve their upcoming title Forza Motorsport 8. Toward this end, they are giving players a chance to apply for a closed playtest of the game.
Invitations to the playtest will be given to players who participate in a Forza Feedback Panel. Between the information they collect from the panel and from the playtests, Turn 10 is hoping to create a better final game.
According to Creative Director Chris Esaki in an interview with Forza Monthly, this signifies a new direction for the developers and for the franchise. They want to gather and implement more player feedback, which is why they have been running regular playtests with Xbox Game Studios.
Esaki explained that their goal is to “really fine tune our details and get the racing right for everyone.” And he emphasized that signing up for the panel will open additional opportunities to experience this game early.
“We’re going to continue to plan this type of testing as we go in the months ahead and get more and more people from the community in and enjoying this experience. So once again, get on those Forza panels and you’ll actually be able to check out the new or part of the new Forza Motorsport.”
Interested in signing up? All you have to do is apply online today. And considering that the final game is supposed to run in 4K at 60fps and make solid use of ray tracing, this is a title that sounds worth checking out early.
