IO Interactive Tells PC Players Hitman 2 Levels Will Work in Hitman 3

January 18, 2021

IO Interactive, the developer behind the stealth game, has confirmed that owners of Hitman 2 on PC will be able to play levels from the title in the upcoming Hitman 3.

Previously, the studio had released conflicting information about the process of playing earlier levels on PC. This is largely because Hitman 3 is launching exclusively on the Epic Games Store, a platform that Hitman 2 is not available on.

That means those who had previously purchased Hitman 2 on Steam would have to purchase the Access Pass to be able to play levels from the game in the sequel.

The Access Pass will be discounted at 80% on PC for the first two weeks following the launch of Hitman 3. Anyone who buys the new title within the first 10 days of release will get access to all the levels from 2016’s Hitman at no additional cost.

However, console players will get all previously available levels in Hitman 3 as long as they own the earlier titles on the same platform family.

Hitman 3 is set to launch on January 20 across Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
