Konami has released a demo for PES 2022, with users able to download it on a variety of platforms.
The launch came with no warning and is actually titled New Football Game Online Performance Test, suggesting that this is some sort of beta test to evaluate features before a full release later this year.
A message on the official Konami site explains that the demo is being used to “evaluate the quality of the online matchmaking and connection to the servers” and that “gameplay mechanics, balancing, animations, and graphics are all under development and will be improved before the official launch.”
Players can download the demo on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, with users not needing an active Xbox Live Gold or PSN subscription to play the title.
According to the official description, New Football Game Online Performance Test will be available up until July 8.
