While some fans are excited about the upcoming Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, others worry this will be a rehash of what we have seen from other games. However, the game’s DLC promises to bring characters from The Mandalorian as well as Solo: A Star Wars Story.
This will come in the form of additional character packs that players can purchase. For example, the Solo character pack lets you play as younger versions of Han Solo, Lando Calrissian, Chewbacca, and supporting characters such as Qi’ra, Tobias Beckett, and Enfys Nest. And The Mandalorian character pack lets you play as Din Djarin (the titular Mandalorian), complete with a Grogu (better known as Baby Yoda) NPC.
Players will be able to buy these two character packs when the game launches on April 5. Other packs will soon be available. The Classic Characters pack launches on April 19, which is the same day the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story pack launches. Additionally, the Trooper Pack (free to those who pre-ordered the digital version) will be available on May 4.
May 4, “Star Wars Day,” will be a fairly big day for this game. On that day, players will get a character pack based on The Bad Batch as well as a new character pack featuring characters from the second season of The Mandalorian.
Is all of this enough to make you return to a Lego galaxy far, far away? Let us know in the comments!
