Modern Warfare on PC Gets Specific Uninstall Options

October 13, 2020

The size of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) has already become a bad joke: now the game together with CoD: Warzone requires over 200 GB of your disk space. Fortunately, it will be possible to remove useless parts of the game starting today.

On Monday, Infinity Ward production director Paul Haile tweeted about an upcoming patch due out today with “mode specific uninstall options for PC MW owners.”

“Specific uninstall options” means that you can delete the part of the game you don’t play often: for example, the campaign, multiplayer, spec ops or survival. Currently, this function is available only on consoles.
