Nintendo Switch Online Now Has Missions and Rewards

Those with a Nintendo Switch Online membership can now enjoy special Missions and Rewards. These new features allow players to earn “Platinum Points” that they can spend on items in the My Nintendo Store.

If you already have a membership, you can get started by clicking the Switch Online icon on your home screen and going to the “Missions and Rewards” tab. Most of the “missions” center around things that you already do or can do so easily, including checking out the growing library of classic games or simply playing online with other people.

The more missions you complete, the more Platinum Points you get. One of the more exciting things you can spend points on is a new icon. You can create a custom player icon by combining different characters, backgrounds, and frames. This month’s themes revolve around both Super Mario Odyssey and Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and there will be new themes each month.
