PlayStation Plus Free Games for July 2021 Now Available

July 7, 2021

The PlayStation Plus free games for July are now available to subscribers. This month, Sony is giving away Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds for PS4 and A Plague Tale: Innocence for PS5.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has no real campaign mode, but there is a killer Zombies mode you can play offline as well as a few solo missions. Beyond that, you need to go online and start finding some matches. Though, given this game is three years old, you may need to play at certain times to find the most active servers.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is an arcade-style spinoff of the WWE 2K games, and it has a decent cooperative mode. The overall game is pretty bad, but if you have PlayStation Plus already, it’s not like you’re paying anything extra for it!

Finally, the PS5 free game is A Plague Tale: Innocence. The story and stealth gameplay of this title are pretty solid, putting you in the shoes of characters trying to dodge the Inquisition during the Hundred Years War. And the game’s PS5 upgrade features 60fps, 4K resolution, 3D audio, and great use of the adaptive triggers on your DualSense controller.

The above games are available until August 2. Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, which was made available for free on PS Plus in June, is available until that date, too.
