This game takes place in the Hisui region, in which everyone takes on one of three roles: Medical, Security and the Survey Corps. Players must observe and capture Pokémon, all while dealing with corrupt, red-eyed versions of some of your favorite characters like Stantler and Braviary.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus releases on the Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022.

Nintendo Switch Lite gets a new Pokémon-themed edition

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl arrive on Nov. 19

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will release on Nov. 19. Players will be returning to the Sinnoh region where they will battle against Team Galactic using strategic gameplay mechanics.

These Switch titles are trying to recapture the look and feel of the original games, which came out back in 2006. But they have been enhanced with features that allow you to decorate your Capsule and also talk with other trainers from all around the world.

Pokémon Unite is coming to mobile

If you like League of Legends, you will like Pokémon Unite. Pokémon Unite is a Nintendo Switch MOBA that will arrive for iOS and Android on Sept. 22. There are two special Pikachu outfits that will unlock respectively when 2.5 million and then 5 million players pre-register for the game. No money will be needed to play this F2P game, though it will offer in-game purchases. And the good news is crossplay is supported.

Other Pokémon announcements

Pokémon Café Mix will be getting a new avatar and additional options to customize gameplay. The mobile game Pokémon Masters is celebrating a two-year anniversary, and you can now log in to get a bonus of 3,000 gems. Also, you can now scout over 100 sync pairs. Finally, hit game Pokémon GO will be bringing in new characters from the Galar region, including Wooloo.
