Sony has decided to invest $250 million in Epic Games, it was announced on Thursday. The Fortnite company has now raised $1.83 billion to date.

It is emphasized that although Sony now owns a minority stake of Epic Games (1.4%), developers will still be able to release their products on other platforms.
