Sony is launching a brand new beta program for its system software updates, allowing users to test out new features for the next-gen console.
The program is set to give beta testers the ability to try out some of the new features and options that will be introduced in the next major system update that is due to release later this year.
Anyone interested in signing up for the beta can do so at the official PlayStation site. Registration is currently available to anyone over the age of 18 who is a resident of the U.S., U.K., Canada, France, Germany, and Japan.
Those who want to take part will also require a PS5 console, an active internet connection, and a PlayStation Network account.
Users will also be expected to provide feedback to the developers, allowing those in the beta to help shape how some features will work.
