Next week, Square Enix is launching a recurring digital showcase event called Square Enix Presents. And the debut episode will include the world premiere of the next installment in the Life Is Strange series.
The original Life Is Strange felt like a real breath of fresh air. It combined great music, engaging characters, and hard moral choices with a mechanic that let you turn back time and do most events and conversations over again.
Following the success of that game, Square Enix brought us a prequel (Life Is Strange: Before the Storm) and a sequel (Life Is Strange 2). We don’t know much about this next game except that it will feature a new protagonist and a new power for players to master.
While the next Life Is Strange game is the headlining title, there will be much more to see at this digital event. There will be additional videos and announcements for titles like Marvel’s Avengers, Outriders, Balan Wonderworld, and the mobile port of Just Cause. We’ll also learn more about events concerning Tomb Raider’s 25th anniversary and game announcements from Square Enix Montréal and Taito.
The first show of this digital event will last 40 minutes, and players can watch it on the official YouTube and Twitch channels for Square Enix starting on Thursday, March 18 at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. ET.
