When Cuphead came out, just about everybody marveled at the beautiful cartoon aesthetic of the game. Now, things have come full circle, and The Cuphead Show cartoon is coming to Netflix on February 18. You can watch the trailer below.
So far, it looks like the show is sticking closely to the source material. It follows the wacky adventures of Cuphead and Mugman as they get into trouble around Inkwell Isles. And as win the game, the two must deal with the machinations of The Devil himself!
Another reason that game fans can look forward to a faithful adaptation is that Cuphead creators Chad and Jared Moldenhauer are both serving as executive producers for Studio MDHR. And one of the executive producers is Dave Wasson, a veteran of Mickey Mouse shorts and a winner of both Annie and Emmy Awards.
