Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Gets an Official Announcement and Teaser Trailer

August 20, 2020

Activision has finally finished teasing the new Call of Duty game. On Wednesday, they revealed a teaser trailer of the new Call of Duty Black Ops, which, as expected, received the subtitle “Cold War.”

The game is developed by Treyarch. It’s not clear if the new game will be connected to the previous Black Ops games. Also, we don’t know whether Cold War will be based on real story or will unfold in an alternative universe.

Interesting fact: what you hear during the teaser are the comments of a real KGB agent, Yuri Bezmenov, who fled the Soviet Union in 1970 and was actively lecturing on how KGB influenced regimes in different countries.

More details about the game will be revealed on August 26. It should be noted that Cold War has already received a Mature rating, which indirectly hints at the upcoming release.
