Franchise fans have been waiting and can now rejoice. Total War: Warhammer 3 has been announced and you can watch the trailer below. Although the exact release date is not yet known, Steam lists the game for a late 2021 release. Warhammer 3 will also be available through the Epic Games Store.
This game will finish out the trilogy of titles set in the World of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Once more, players will encounter numerous races from this familiar universe. And the latest title will finally show us Kislev and Cathay as part of the Chaos faction.
Developer Creative Assembly promises that this final installment will be more impressive than anything franchise fans have previously experienced. The game features a campaign mode where players must make a choice: to either save a god from certain death or exploit his powers for your own benefit.
Playing the game as different races will give you different glimpses of the Chaos Realm and the overall story. But regardless of who you play as, the climax of the story will permanently alter the fate of the world.
Whether you are a fan of the previous games or a complete newcomer to the franchise, this is one 2021 title that you won’t want to miss.
