Silent Hill is going to visit Dead by Daylight, the asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game. As the part of collaboration, Dead by Deadlight will take on some famous parts of the Silent Hill franchise:
- The map is Midwich Elementary School
- The murderer is Pyramid Head
- The survivor is Cheryl Heather Mason
Several new tracks in Silent Hill style, including a cover of the Dead by Daylight main musical theme, were recorded by Akira Yamaoka, the legendary composer of many SH games.
The Silent Hill DLC will arrive on June 16 for PC and consoles, but you can try it out now on a test PC server. Android and iOS versions are not mentioned by the creators.
By the end of the year Dead by Daylight will also support cross-play between PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Could this be a warm-up before an announcement of a new Silent Hill game?
